Bristol offers stag and hen groups enough outdoor activities, nightlife, beauty therapy, retail therapy and entertainment to suit any budget, and all tastes, plus somewhere to get your head down at the end of the night.

Nearly all of the shops, hotels, restaurants, beauty therapy and nightlife can be found around the city centre, divided into five main areas, which all lead from and include the city centre: Broadmead, Corn Street, The Waterfront, Park Street and Whiteladies Road (fondly regarded by locals as ‘The Strip’).

Shopaholics on any budget can get their fix in Bristol. Broadmead shopping area offers no surprises with all of your usual high street chains, whereas the Park St and Clifton Down shopping Centre provide your more pricey independent shops. If you are looking for nik naks and souvenirs, step back in time on the Christmas Steps or visit the Saturday street market at the top of Corn Street, where you can find a combination of predictable clothes and silver jewellery etc.

Bring transport (or risk a big taxi fare), if you fancy a bit of action of the outdoor pursuits kind. Most centres are situated on the outskirts of Bristol, but give you the opportunity get stuck into loads of energetic activities such as Paintball, shooting, karting, off-road driving, and many more.

If you have transport or feel like walking, Ashton Court, home of the Bristol Balloon Fiesta, on the other side of the Clifton Suspension Bridge, is a huge estate, ideal for soaking up the rays, picnics or having a game footy, baseball or cricket.
